Partridge Spey lines create enjoyable, effortless and easy spey casting. Designed by top ghillie and spey casting champion Ian Gordon, so that most of the line weight is held within the D-Loop, providing maximum energy when loading the rod.
The longer front taper means that energy is transferred progressively and with less effort on the forward cast. A fine front taper means less friction on the water leadingto faster line speed, ombined with better presentation.
The key to consistency when Spey casting, is picking up the same amount of line off the water every time. Colour changes in the line provide the angler with a reference point 5' from the end of the head, to give consistent casting. The super fast, slick lines will complement anglers of all ability. Designed on the River Spey by Ian Gordon, these lines have amazing casting capabilities and won Ian the coveted Jimmy Green trophy in the 2004 Spey O Rama competition in the USA.
